As a group we have come up with our final idea. Amani is the victim who is going home which is located in Enfield South Street. He unlocks the main door to enter the building. While walking up the hut Amani realises blood on the stairs. He doesn't know if the liquid on the floor is blood or something else so bends down to touch it. As he realises that what he just touched is blood he has a fearful facial expression and body language of not knowing what to do. He carries on walking and following the blood on the floor and when he reaches the door to his house he notices that the door is unlocked. When he walks into the house he heads to the living room seeing his sisters dead body covered in blood. At this moment he is stood still in shock and concentrated on his sisters body. He doesn't notice the antagonist behind him who hits Amani with a wooden stick on the head.

The antagonist appearing from the back of the victim will be a breath taking moment for the audience as they will find out what the character is doing behind Amani and where he came from. This scene will also create shock and suspense for the audience as they would have many differnt questions in their minds of the antagonist and amani. The face of the antagonist will not be shown as he has hidden identity. This adds mystery to the thriller. It is also conventional to a thriller.

Moreover, the camera will fade to black and Amanis body will be flashed to the camera. Amani is wrapped up in a ball in the corner of the dark room. This means that the antagonist has put Amani into darkness and when Amani opens his eyes, he comes across being in a dark room walking up next to his sisters ghost. He tries to reach to his sister but hes too weak.
In the dark room everything that is going on happens in his brain and his sister fades.
Amani starts to move his body when he is on the floor in the dark room. Then Amani faints.
Finally Amani wakes up in the house and wraps himself in a ball, loses control of himself.

  1. Not a bad post but missing some detail:
    - Themes & film influences theres nothing on
    - Thriller conventions & audience responses are only briefly mentioned
